Execution Context
The ExecutionContext is the core of the engine system. It is an object that holds the state of an 'execution' or commonly known as a 'request'. It is passed to each step of the engine and can be used to store and retrieve data that is relevant to the execution.
Parameters
Injecting parameters into your engine steps is a powerful feature that allows you to customize the behavior of your application based on dynamic values. Parameters can be used to pass data between different steps in the engine, enabling you to create more flexible and adaptable workflows.
Pipes
Pipes are a powerful feature of the engine system that allow you to transform and manipulate data when it is being injected into your engine steps. Pipes can be used to perform various operations on the data, such as validation, transformation, or formatting, before it is passed to the step.
Timeouts
The engine also supports timeouts for an execution context. This is, when a execution (request) takes longer than a specified time, it will be automatically canceled and an error will be thrown. This is useful to prevent long-running executions from blocking the system.
